Rules for Special Contribution Award Candidate Selection of the Physical Society of the Republic of China

The Society established the rules to recognize those who have made a special contribution to physics academia in the Republic of China (R.O.C.), as follows:

  1. The candidate shall be nominated by three council members or by 20 or more members. When nominated, the nominee’s specific contributions shall be clearly listed. The Board of Directors will review the qualifications. A decision is made by a two-thirds majority of attended directors when three-fourths majority of directors or above attend the review meeting.
  2. The director recognizes the winner for their contribution and awards the winner a medal at the annual meeting.
