The main entrance is located at the intersection of Xingda Rd. and Xuefu Rd.
Airplane
From Taoyuan International Airport
Take Ubus at Terminal 1 or 2 to Taichung Train Station. The bus fare is NT$240. The route takes roughly 2½ to 3 hours. After that, please follow the guide line of " Railway " to NCHU.
From Taichung Airport
Take Taichung Bus lines 9, 115, or 150 to Luchuan East Stop in front of the Taichung Train Station. The bus fare is NT$49. The route takes roughly 1 to 1½ hours. After that, please follow the guide line of " Railway " to NCHU. (
Taking taxi directly to NCHU is recommended. The taxi fare is approximately NT$400-500. )
Taiwan High Speed Rail ( Taichung Station )
By Bus
Exit from Exit 6 on the 1st floor, go to No. 10 bus platform and take THSR shuttle bus line 156 ( Taichung to Taichung English & Art Museum ). The route takes about 30 minutes.
By Taxi
From HSR Taichung Station to NCHU, you can take taxi at the Exit 7 on the 1st floor. The taxi trip takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and the taxi fare is approximately NT$200.
Railway ( Taichung Train Station )
By Bus
Take Taichung Bus lines 33, 35, Ubus lines 50, 59, 73, or Chuang Hang Bus lines 58, 65 in front of the Taichung Train Station. The route takes about 15 minutes.
Note: The destination is the main entrance of NCHU at Xingda Rd. if you take the Taichung Bus. Other buses take you to the side gate of NCHU at Guokuang Rd. . To avoid taking the opposite direction, please inquire the driver in advance.
By Taxi
From Taichung Train Station to NCHU, the taxi trip takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The taxi fare by meter is approximately NT$110-130.
Driving
National Freeway No.1 ( a.k.a Sun Yat-sen Freeway )
Get off at the Zhongguang Interchange , head to the downtown direction along the Taiwan Boulevard [ former Taichung Port Rd. ] , and turn right at the Yingcai Rd. , go straight along the same road through the Linsen Rd. and the Guokuang Rd. , turn right at the Xingda Rd. , drive 200 meters and the main entrance of NCHU is on the left.
( Note: Yingcai Rd., Linsen Rd., and Guokuang Rd. are the same road with different names in different sections )
National Freeway No.3 ( a.k.a Formosan Freeway )
Get off at the Zhongtou Interchange , connect to the Zhongtou Expressway and head to the Taichung direction, go along the Wuquan S. Rd. , turn right at the Zhongming S. Rd. , turn left at the Xingda Rd. , drive 500 meters and the main entrance of NCHU is on the right.
