We introduce squeezed states with real and complex parameters directly in the coherent-state representation of the harmonic oscillator in phase space. Afterwards, we compare these squeezed states with those represented in the coordinate picture. We also show that the time evolution in quantum phase space, obtaining in this manner provide a way to compare our results with those given by the Wigner method.
