We have given a new formula to describe the directed flow and elliptic flow characteristics in high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions. The azimuthal distributions of the particles and projectile fragments produced are calculated and compared with the E877, E895, E875 and EMU11 experimental data. It is shown that the new formula is successful in the description of azimuthal distributions.
