Generalized Coulomb Potential and Field Equations in
Accelerated Frames Based on the Wu Transformation

A Modified Poisson equation and the Coulomb potential of a point charge in a constant-linear-acceleration frame are obtained. The generalized Maxwell equations for both inertial and linearly accelerated frames are discussed. These results are obtained on the basis of the `Wu transformation', which is a generalized Lorentz transformation for constant-linear-acceleration frames and which reduces to the Lorentz transformation with four-dimensional symmetry in the limit of zero acceleration. Some physical implications of the results regarding the Schroedinger and Dirac equations are discussed.
