The pseudorapidity (rapidity) and transverse momentum distributions of negatively charged hadrons produced in high energy nucleus-nucleus collisions are studied in the thermalized cylinder picture. For a given interacting system of central nucleus-nucleus collisions, the values of parameters for different rapidity ranges of the experimental data are nearly the same. The calculated results are in agreement with the experimental data of central 16O-Au, 32S-S, and 32S-Ag collisions at 200 GeV/N.
